WHAT IS LIFE ALL ABOUT?

Have you ever gotten up in the morning and asked yourself the question: "What in the world is life all about? What is worthwhile? I get up and go through the same routine day after day. What for?"

Seriously, can anyone tell me what is life all about? What is worthwhile? What is junk? We have only one life to live and we want to make the most of it, but how can we accomplish this, with the energy and resources we have? What in life can we afford to let go of?

If we think about it, is plain: Let's go of anything we can't carry with us into eternal life!

1. What about pretense? Are we 'pretenders'?
Do we pretend to be something, someone we are not? Do outsiders see a different 'us' than our family sees? "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Matthew 5:16 Eternity is not for pretenders.

2. What about worry? "Do we worry about things that MAY happen?"
Leave the future to God. We don't know what the future holds, but we know Who holds the future.

3. Are we discontented?
We must make the best of what we have, without complaining.

4. Are we always wanting something better?

If we look around, we can always find someone worse off than ourselves.

5. Are we self-seeking? Are we like a two-year-old, always looking out for Number One?
"In eternal life there is no greed. One hears of neither 'mine' nor 'thine'. As you know, we might be the luckiest person in this world. All things are for all."

Now here are some things we can hang on to, or adopt:

1. Make use of our time.
If we waste a minute here and a minute there, before we know it, we have wasted perhaps an hour. A whole hour out of our day! The question in life is not "How much time do I have?" It is "What shall I do with the time I have?"

2. Value work.
We must ask ourselves: "Is this work vital for strengthening my own character, or inspiring others, or helping the world?" Of course, one must work to earn a living, but it is HOW we do even menial tasks that counts. We must value the work God has given us to do, and do it to please Him and to be a testimony to those with whom we work.

3. Seek happiness every day.
If we are not happy today, we will never be happy! Or as an old teacher of mine used to say: "If you are not happy anywhere, you will not be happy anywhere." It took me a few years to figure that one out. But she was right. Be happy today, regardless of circumstances. This doesn't mean that we have to go around laughing all the time. What it means is, be happy within ourselves so that our happiness will shine through us to others, radiating Christ.

4. Cherish love.
"True love never nags. It trusts. Love does not have to be tethered, neither in time or eternity. " Jealous love, exclusive love, selfish love: these kinds of love are not true love. "Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, nos not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil...."

5. Have Faith.
This is all-important. "Strong, serene, unquenchable faith in the loving kindness of God will enable us to look fearlessly towards the end of the temporal existence and the beginning of the eternal, and will make it possible for us to live our lives effectively, grandly."

Summing it all up: Let go of everything you cannot carry into eternal life.

Well, life for me is to fulfil my duties entrested to me by the almighty. According to me every man/ every creation of God has to perform its designated duty. Many times, I fail to understand my duty or get confused and do what we are not designated to do and not do what we have supposed to do. Hence, there is missaries, disapointment, and feel the life is a failure. So first we have to understand about the self, and God. Once we get tune-up with the existance of God, every thing will be clear to our consious.

Life is a lesson you learn from everything you do even when you open your door you learned a new day every day so life is a leasson learned.

SO WHAT IS LIFE? ( we go back to the previous question again)
I admitted that there has never been a human born that has not asked himself, “What is life all about,” or “What is life itself?” Religions, philosophies and every other known form of thought has tried to place an answer into existence about these questions; and in most cases they have certainly done a great job, in spreading the QUESTIONS!

Most people have some thought on what life is, some say it is a dream, an experience or maybe just a biological event. Every philosophy, culture and religion has its explanations on what they think life might be… but God Himself has not yet fully explained this to humanity yet!

Everywhere around us and in a continuous flow life is being formed, changed, renewed, created, filled up and also emptied!

I heard from some of my friends said that “Life is a Journey through time.” “Life is an event for a soul to attain information about something called eternity.” “Life is a sacred experience and life is just flesh and breath tasting the wisdom of heaven.”

Just to let you know, no matter how one looks at it, life as a human soul is really a mysterious privilege of the highest level. Am I right? DO you guys agree with what I am saying? Let me explain to you guys,

Here we go~

As you know,

FRIENDS
Most of us, include myself always said LONELY when we have nothing to do on the weekends and at the same time, we just dumped by our partner or maybe when we only have a few friends to hang out, nobody would like to hear our stories. To tell you the truth, life isn’t about keeping score and it’s not about how many friends you have or how accepted you are. life is not about if you have plans on this weekend or if you’re alone.
(You're not alone)

FAMILY~
Don't ever tell me that you're not happy with your family or don't have a rich family or whatever.
Please...... they are the most closest person in your life. It isn’t about who your family is or how much money they have or what kind of car they drive or where you are sent to school.

NOBODY IS PERFECT.
It’s not about how beautiful or ugly you are or what clothes you wear, what shoes you have on, or what kind of music you listen to. Moreover, it’s not about if your hair is blonde, red, black, or brown, or if your skin is too light or too dark. Not about what grades you get how smart you are, how smart everybody else thinks you are, or how smart standardized tests say you are.

Life just isn’t.

Life is about who you love and who you hurt.
It’s about who you make happy or unhappy purposely.
It’s about keeping or betraying trust.
It’s about friendship, used as a sanctity or as a weapon.
It’s about what you say and mean, maybe hurtful, maybe heartening.
It’s about starting rumors and contributing to petty gossip.
It’s about what judgments you pass and why. And who your judgments are spread to.
It’s about who you’ve ignored with full control and intention.
It’s about jealousy, fear, ignorance, and revenge.
It’s about carrying inner hate and love, letting it grow and spreading it.

But most of all, it’s about using your life to touch or poison other people’s hearts in such a way that could have
never occurred alone.
Only you choose the way those hearts are affected, and those choices are what life’s all about.
Today let this rainbow remind your friends and family of what life is really all about.

Every moment of this strange and lovely life from dawn to dusk is nothing less than a endless series of miracles for its possessor to ponder!

Thus we are given our own personal individual mystery to pontificate and possibly attain our own answers. Remember, thousands of generations and billions upon billions of minds have sought this answer. With the best of them concluding that life is an incredibly personal and sacred and perplexing span of time called FRAGILE and PRECIOUS!!!
